Juice Boxes for Evan by Renee'

This is a baby quilt made for Evan. The pattern is called Juice Boxes from Cluck. Cluck. Sew. I had the quilting done by Eagle Mountain Quilters, they did a great job! I love how the quilting is squares to follow the piecing.
It went together so fast and was a lot easier to do than I thought it would be. I really enjoyed making this quilt. Now what to quilt next.... hmm

Jordan's Disappearing Nine Patch, by Angi

I cannot remember where I found this pattern exactly, I think it is every where.  For the "quilting", I just did a 1/4 inch vertical line through out..Time consuming... I probably won't do that again...  For the backing I used a green fleece per Jordan's request.  He wanted it as warm as possible.

Angi's Film Strip Quilt

I made this quilt from a tutorial I found here. The backing is a matching purple flannel.. and instead of expensive batting, I used white fleece from the clearence section of Hancocks.. enough to do two quilts for $3.00.. not to shabby!

Renee's first completed quilt!

I received my quilt back from Eagle Mountain Quilting yesterday evening. I am SO thrilled, they did a fantastic job! This was my first attempt at making a quilt all by my onesie. It was a pretty simple pattern, just strips, the most challenging was the border, getting it all square. It went together fast too!

Needless to say, I am now addicted to quilting! I am still waiting on the last few pieces of fabric to come for my next project. Can't wait!

Renee's New Project

Why is buying fabric SOO addicting? Here is a sample of my latest stash I have been collecting for a baby quilt I'm making. I have the final pieces on the way and I can't wait to start playing with it, before I keep buying more, and more, and more....
